My Computing Skills:
C# Programming Language
I was first introduced to the C# programming language during my BSc. Games Development course with Newcastle College. Since then, I have used C# when developing a plethora of video game projects in the Unity game engine. My skill with the C# language has been further improved since commencing my studies at university as it has been required in both of our Programming modules. I have experience using the C# language in Console Applications, Windows Forms applications and while developing video games.
Projects I used this in: Mobile Ball Game, Windows Form Application Game
CSS
I find the styling of webpages to be the most fun part of developing a website, and I do so by using external CSS style sheet(s). I always seek to improve upon my websites by expanding my knowledge of techniques to implement fancier, eye-catching designs.

HTML
The requirement to learn HTML for developing webpages was my first experience with a new language outside of my experience with the C# programming language. For the first year of university, I dived into HTML for my Web-Development module. I always incorporate clean and concise HTML code such as clear naming conventions and neatly organised 'div' sections.

Git and GitHub
The importance of version control cannot be understated. Prior to starting university, I made semi-frequent backups of my projects on storage devices, but I now understand just how powerful version control is and use it for every university project. I do so by creating repositories on GitHub for my individual projects and also for our shared, collaborative group projects.

JavaScript
I primarily use JavaScript to make use of user's input on my webpages whether that be their choice to switch to a darker mode version of the webpages (via code which locates and updates the background colour on the page) or altering CSS elements in general.

PHP
We learned about PHP in our first year of university, after learning the basics of HTML and styling with CSS. Taking advantage of PHP allowed me to make vast improvements to my webpages by using more advanced features such as improving legibility of my website code by using 'includes' on pages where sections of the page is repeated across multiple pages and also linking to a database to pull information onto the pages.

SQL (Databases)
I learned about SQL and databases in our first year of university, gaining an understanding of the various SQL functions such as adding to/removing from tables, filtering data and other such calculations. I have experience working with databases in MySQL and SQLite. I primarily use phpMyAdmin with XAMPP to allow integration of MySQL databases in my websites but I have also used DB Browser for SQLite.

My Personal Skills:
Adaptable
I consider myself to be a quick-learner for new concepts or topics of which I'm not familiar. I also believe that I am able to quickly integrate into a working environment and feel comfortable around new people.
Leadership
I find myself in a position of leadership during my studies so far at university, frequently being the person who my group look to when we need to put a plan together and as an extension of this, I have experience with assigning tasks to the other members of my team after determining who would be best suited for the tasks while also considering the requirement for having each member of the team contribute fairly to the projects.
Teamwork
Throughout my studies at college and at university, I've demonstrated my teamwork ability through frequent group-work focused modules, in addition to the requirement of working amongst my peers in my workplace as a Recruitment Officer by sharing the workload in an effort to ensure that our targets are met, particularly when a member of staff is on leave and I pick up their work while they're away.
Planning
I've always been able to meet my targets for my coursework at college and university, and excel with high grades for the modules and I greatly attribute a large portion of that to my ability to plan ahead, taking the task at hand into consideration and divide it up into smaller tasks which I am able to complete in a timely manner, ensuring that I never 'leave it too late'.
